Latest PREP Updates

December 8, 2023

I would like to start off by wishing all our Families, Students & Staff the very best during the season of Advent. A special thank you to the Level 6 Class and their Teacher Mr. Scaglione for the wonderful job they did in preparing and presenting our HC Prep Advent Mass on Dec. 5. Also, I would like to thank the Parents and Family Guests who attended the Advent Mass as well. A further thank you also goes to Father Tomas, Rosaria Malsegna, Enza Malsegna & Lauryn Jackson for their help with this memorable Advent Celebration. Please pay attention to the following important information:

  • Please note that it is very important to proceed with caution and at a slow speed when driving in our Parking Lot during pick-up and drop-off times. As the weather begins to change for the worse, we all have to do our very best to keep our Students safe.
  • A very special thank you from Father Chris and Father Tomas to all our Level 3 to Level 7 Students who participated in our Confessions last week, for their exceptional reverence and preparation.
  •  Please be reminded that HC Prep Classes will start their Christmas Break on Dec. 12 (Last Class in Dec.) & then start up again in the New Year on Jan. 16 (First Class in Jan.)
  • Please refer to the HC Prep Program Website on a weekly basis for the most current up dates.  (hcprep.ca)
  • As in the past few years, HC Prep will continue to follow the Health & Safety Guidelines for Schools as prescribed by the Fraser Health Authority. In addition, we continue to ask you to please keep your Children at home if they demonstrate any symptoms of Colds, Flus, Covid and other contagious viruses. This request is being made to help maintain a healthy environment for our Staff & Students.
  • A special thank you goes out to most of the families who continue to make it a priority to get their Children to our Prep Classes on a regular basis. Attendance at as many Classes as possible, will only help further enhance your Child`s Spritual Development.
  • Lev. 7 Students are being asked to mark their Calendars for the Holy Cross Parish Spirit Day on Jan. 13, from 12:15 to 4:15 pm (All Lev. 7 Prep Students are expected to be in attendance on Jan. 13 & to return the completed Spirit Day Consent Form by Dec. 5)

  • HC Prep Communicating Student Learning Reports for the first half of the year will be sent home to all our Students on Feb. 5, 2024
