Parent Information
I would like to start off by thanking all our students, teachers, and families for another wonderful year of Religious Education at Holy Cross Parish. We also wish our Level 7 students the very best as they move on to High School. Please pay attention to the following information:
- Director Retirement & Transition: I will be retiring as Director of the Holy Cross PREP Program, effective June 30, 2026. I want to sincerely thank you all for your continued support of the program throughout this year and in past years as well. Mr. Joseph Villella will be taking over for me, effective September 1, 2026. Joseph currently teaches at Holy Cross Elementary School and will continue in both roles next year. Your cooperation in all aspects of our program was sincerely appreciated!
- Sacramental Photos & Documents: All Level 2 and Level 7 sacramental photos, as well as Level 1 to 7 CSL documents, were given out to all our students on May 19th, which was our last day of classes. If your child was not in attendance, you can pick up their documents at the Parish Office.
- Registration Timelines: Holy Cross PREP classes ended on May 19th and registration will stay open for next year until June 30th. Hard copies of the registration forms were sent home, or you can go online for the form at hcprep.ca. The early registration fee discount ends on June 1st. (Note: Registration will open again on September 2nd).
- First Day of Class: PREP classes for 2026/27 will officially start up again on Tuesday, September 15th at 7:00 PM.

Holy Cross PREP is dedicated to the spiritual development of the whole child through a rich, comprehensive Religious Education Program. In our classrooms this year, we look forward to exploring our core theme, "Proud To Be Part Of A Catholic Community," as well as the Archdiocesan theme of "Living, Celebrating, and Proclaiming our Faith."
