Welcome back to all our PREP Families as we embark on another year of Religious Education at Holy Cross Parish! Please pay attention to the following important information:

• Registration & Outstanding Documents: There are still a few spots available in HC PREP for 2026/27 and registration will close on September 25. Registrations can be dropped off at the Parish Office Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM. Please note that all outstanding registration fees and Baptismal Certificates must be submitted to the Parish Office by September 25.
• First Day & Schedule: PREP classes officially start on Tuesday, September 15, at 7:00 PM. Our students are expected to be here at 6:55 PM for drop-off and should be picked up at 8:00 PM.
• Line-Up Locations & Traffic Safety: Students should be walked to their line-up areas (please take note of the Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 changes from last year):
  • Level 1 & Level 2: By the side entrance to the Church in the Front Parking Lot.
  • Level 3, Level 4 & Level 5: Under the covered area at the front entrance to the School.
  • Level 6 & Level 7: Under the covered area in the Back Parking Lot.
  • Parking Rules: PLEASE DRIVE WITH DUE CARE & ATTENTION IN OUR PARKING LOT. With the exception of Level 6 and Level 7, parents are asked to walk their children to their line-up area for the start of classes and to walk them back to their cars after classes are finished. Please do not stop in the Front Lot to drop off or pick up your children. Please park in the Back Parking Lot.
• Parent Meeting: There will be an IMPORTANT PARENTS MEETING on September 15 from 7:05 PM to 7:55 PM in the Church. At least one parent from each family is expected to attend.
• Website & Sacrament Information: Our website (hcprep.ca) has been newly updated! It now includes a dedicated FAQ section as well as comprehensive information regarding the Sacraments (including all confirmed dates).
• Weekly Updates: IMPORTANT: Please refer to the HC PREP website on a weekly basis for the most current updates (hcprep.ca). The website will be updated with all relevant PREP information for the upcoming week on Fridays.
• Pathways Girls Leadership Club (2026-2027): Holy Cross will be hosting the Pathways Girls Leadership Club beginning October 2026 to May 2027. Pathways is a Catholic leadership club for girls entering grades 3 to 5. Girls will grow in virtue, friendship and leadership through engaging activities, including arts & crafts, drama, games, discussions and service.
